Established in 2004 by historic racer Rupert Whyte, Britain’s only gallery dedicated to historic motoring art has a large selection of automotive fine art and posters which are available for viewing at our gallery in Derbyshire or on the website (although the website inventory is by no means all-inclusive).

Inventory includes fine art and sculpture from some of Europe’s leading automotive artists such as: John Ketchell, Peter Hearsey AFAS, Barry Rowe AFAS, Graham Bosworth, Nicholas Watts, Paul Dove, Sheridon Davies, Xavier Lavictoire, François Chevalier, Roy Putt, Craig Warwick AFAS, Alain Moitrier, Gary Smith and many others.

Also available, as are a large selection of original vintage race posters, early 20th Century lithographs by Ernest Montaut, Geo Ham, Georges Meunier and limited edition prints. We can source posters and artworks by request to meet client requirements.

Historic Car Art also provides publishing and commercial agency services to artists. We are publishers for the highly respected John Ketchell, Barry Rowe AFAS and Sheridon Davies.

Shows and exhibitions for 2009 include: Race Retro, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival, Silverstone Classic, various private and corporate exhibitions, and a Christmas exhibition at our gallery. To arrange a corporate exhibition please contact Rupert Whyte.
