We use the international condition code graded A - B - C - D as used by the International Vintage Poster Dealers Association:-
A+ almost perfect condition - shining colours, fresh paper, some tiny tears in the white edges accepted.
A excellent condition or very good condition - fresh colours, no paper loss, some minor defects accepted such as small tears, pin holes, slight foxing, dirt or bubbles etc.
A- defects visible but still in very good condition. - a poster with fold marks will be described as A-.
B good condition - Fairly good condition with some damage such as obvious fold marks, stains, restored missing pieces, light-stained or faded colours etc. Otherwise generally in good condition with a good general look.
C fair - large missing pieces, or other damage, but not in the central subject, restored.
D bad condition - important missing piece in the central subject. we are not offering any D condition posters.
Condition of a poster is a correlative of rarity. For a rare and old original poster, a collector has to be more flexible about its condition and consider it even in B or C condition.
