Andy Shore has been painting for over 30 years. His favoured and most practiced medium is watercolour and airbrush painting, however he does enjoy other mediums such as oils, pastels and acrylics. Shore’s subject matter is very diverse but he has a passion for automotive subjects, townscapes and seascapes. To date,Shore has had 4 solo watercolour exhibitions at The Jane Powell Gallery, Kenilworth, The Frog & Mouse Gallery, Leicester; and two at DeMontfort University, Leicester where he works as a technical instructor in Art and Design. He also performs art demonstrations and workshops for art groups. Previously Shore worked as a model maker in aerodynamics for Team Lotus, in restoration of historic racing cars and as a scenic artist for a theming company. Shore’s work has been published in various books and magazines. He lives live in a small, rural Leicestershire village with his wife Lorraine and is the proud Father of the well known automotive photographer Amy Shore.
