Our Cooper Art Collection
Our Cooper Art Collection celebrates the Cooper car marque in print, painting and poster; bringing you exciting and evocative automotive art from top motoring artists as limited edition prints and original paintings. Also within the collection are original motoring and race posters that feature Cooper cars; these unique items are added as we unearth them in our constant quest for new and interesting collectibles to offer our customers.
During the 1940s and 1950s the Cooper Car Company dominated in Formula 3 and broke into Formula 1 with the first post war rear engined car qualifying for the 1950 Monaco Grand Prix. The Formula Two Cooper Bristol introduced in 1952 was famously driven by motorsport legends Juan Manuel Fangio and Mike Hawthorn. In Formula 1 Stirling Moss and Jack Brabham took wins in the late 1950s. As the Formula 1 successes declined the Cooper legacy was rubber stamped by domination in rally and saloon car racing throughout the 1960s and beyond.
