Original Painting. The fascinating Pescara track, with its beautiful dusty villages and the tight turns through the towns, so close to people carrying on with daily life as if it were a normal day. The 1957 Pescara race took place in searing conditions, Ferrari only entered one car, that of Luigi Musso who was desperate for championship points and the much needed prize money. Fangio qualified in pole position in his Maserati 250f but it was a determined Musso who took the lead in the race, closely followed by Moss and then Fangio.
